A Sample Science Syllabus

In order to qualify for one full "technology renewal credit", ten hours of instructions time are required. Most of our one day seminars have eight hours of actual instruction time, plus, workshop attendees will decide on their own two-hour project for which they will be accountable.

The following is a sample eight-hour schedule:

8:00- 9:00

Introductions, Lists, Plotting, Graphing, Simple Linear Regression.

9:00- 9:30

The CBL pH Probe.

9:30-10:00

The CBL Dissolved Oxygen Sensor.

10:00-10:30

Downloading off the Internet, Uploading TI Files/Graphs to Computer.

10:30-10:45

Break.

10:45-11:00

Linking, Sharing Data.

11:00-12:00

The CBL Temperature Probe

12:00-12:30

Lunch.

12:30- 1:15

Linear Regression with Transforms, Advanced List Manipulation.

1:15- 1:45

The CBL Light Probe.

1:45- 2:00

Break.

2:00- 2:30

The CBL Voltage Probe.

2:30- 3:30

The CBL Heart Rate Monitor.

3:30- 4:15

The CBR, A Motion Detector.
